YBF acquires Teamsquare and launches Victoria’s first FinTech Hub.

Welcome to the new YBF Melbourne.

YBF is proud to announce our acquisition of serviced co-working space, Teamsquare.

The acquisition increases YBF’s Melbourne CBD footprint by more than five times and further solidifies our place as Australia’s number one platform for open innovation – a place that trailblazing technology startups, scaleups, corporates and investors come together in, to drive Australia’s technology industry forward on a global scale.

We are also partnering with the Victorian Government and Startupbootcamp to create Melbourne’s first FinTech Hub at YBF Melbourne.

Startups and Entrepreneurs

So, you’ve started; you have a tech company, it’s ticking along, but now comes the hard part––you need to grow. But how? How to build the right team, get cash and be mentored along the way so you know you’re making the right moves? Cue YBF.

Since 2011, we’ve been designing, building and perfecting an ecosystem to maximise your startup’s success.

We work with the best. YBF members can meet industry leaders, get direct support from Community Managers, access over $300k worth of tech resources, tap into YBF’s rich industry network (over 12,000 people), take advantage of ongoing learning events, and most importantly, YBF has set up a thriving work culture (yeah, we provide the full office set-up for you to flourish).

We don’t like to brag, but among YBF members and alumni are companies acquired by Apple and started by Rocket Internet, as well as leaders like Drawboard, Gleam.io, 90Seconds, CanYa, Doshii, Omny Studios, Latipay, and Vumero.

For Corporations And Partners

Collaboration is the key to innovation and future success. YBF partners with some of the world’s most innovative corporations and links them with nascent technology startups.

YBF’s open innovation hub bridges the gap between startups, corporates and academic institutions by providing a hub where these organisations can drive real outcomes and foster new culture.

Some of our partners include Clique, Aon, Dentsu Aegis, EY, Mirvac and ANZ.

Part of YBF’s corporate partner work includes encouraging intrapreneurialism, increasing internal capacity to innovate, and creating new and disruptive joint ventures.

Our Story

Australia’s centre of technological innovation since 2011.

1. We maximize the success of technology startups.

2. We unlock new technology, innovation and culture for corporate partners.

3. We provide access to a fertile ground of curated, successful technology companies for investors.

We believe in a culture of collaboration and resource sharing to achieve mutual wins and to keep Australia competitive in the global technology industry.

This isn’t another co-working gig. YBF is a specially-designed space of the future, where startups and upstarts can thrive, evolve, raise investment and prepare themselves for success in the global market.

Our specialty lies in growing businesses and linking our selection of startups with corporate partners and investors. We also happen to provide workspaces so startups and small companies can develop in an atmosphere of shared ideas and open innovation.
